My Violets

Just recently took this picture of my African Violets. I have always kept violets, my whole life. They are one of my favorite flowers. At the begining of the year, I lived away from my home for a while. I left these guys at my house and came back now and then to water them. I lost quite a few, and the ones that were still alive where gasping for their last breath!

This is My Grandmother's Flower stand. They seem quite happy in here!

So when I got back home I started watering them regularly, but that wasn't doing the trick. So to fertilize them I threww a bunch of rabbit poo in each pot. Well, look at them now! Never, ever have thay looked this good!!

Confessions!!

Yes, I need to call the admit it line!! I LOVE LOVE Old China! The kind with Pink Flowers and Gold Trim. I surely don't need any more, BUT I always end up leaving our local thrift store with a new treasure! Here is what I found this weekend!

My Rainbow World!

                        Hi Friends,
Just some images from my new Studio!! It definitely is getting that Lived-in, Worked-in look! I still need shelving for books and yarns, but that will come. I have been doing alot of dyeing this week, not so much spinning. As you can see, the work is piling up.

Getting some Beautiful April Showers this morning, and it has me pulling out some of my Favorite garden books. Since this is a rented space, I am looking for ideas on container gardens. Putting in a patio out my studio door from some free rock next door, I would like to incorporate a garden pond. At my home on the other side of the state I have many ponds and totally enjoy them big or small. It's the "not-perminate" (like it's not mine) that I am struggling with at this moment!!!

Peace, Patti~
